The Massage Therapy program is designed to qualify graduates for entry-level employment in a Health Care setting, Spa environment or as an independent practitioner. Through hands-on experience and a rigorous curriculum that can be tailored to accommodate your individual needs, you’ll learn what it takes to become a licensed massage therapist capable of helping those in need. Students are taught manual techniques to manipulate the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and to promote health and wellness. Topics include Anatomy, Physiology, Massage Theory, Florida Law, HIV/AIDS education, Hydrotherapy, Eastern and Allied modalities. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical applications and a positive learning environment that involves small classes.

Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers’ Massage Therapy Training Program prepares graduates for licensure testing and subsequent employment as licensed massage therapists. The curriculum includes six to nine months of classroom and clinical work alongside experienced instructors in the industry. Students will learn the foundation of massage theory and they will be trained in different skills including:
