This method was developed in 1923, making it newer than the galvanic method. It’s faster, and it is performed in a similar method. The difference here is that instead of using an electric current it makes use of a high-frequency radio signal. The signal will vibrate the follicle, irritating the water molecules, and then, heat will be produced which thickens the fluid and destroys the cell tissue. Keep in mind that this type of electrolysis is a bit less effective than galvanic, and is better for fine hair.
The final type of electrolysis is simply a combination of the two mentioned above. It has only been in use since 1945, and the galvanic current will use acidic lye, while a high-frequency current causes the vibration. The vibration will cause the lye to disperse into every part of the follicle. Oftentimes this is used for fine body hair as well as scattered coarse hairs.
