Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers was founded in 1974 with the goal of providing professional training in cosmetology arts and related beauty and wellness career fields. Today, Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers has two Florida locations-Hollywood and Miami-and is one of few Pivot Point Member Schools in Florida.

For more than 35 years, Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers has remained on the cutting edge of the cosmetology industry by continuously updating its curriculum and program offerings to better serve its students. Using the pivot point method of education, our instructors allow students to explore their creativity while learning the most innovative techniques in the beauty industry.

As a Pivot Point Member School, Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers offers students the most current and comprehensive career training in Cosmetology, Skin Care, and Nail Technology. We also offer diploma programs in Electrology*, Laser Hair Removal*, and Massage Therapy**, as well as a variety of Continuing Education courses for already licensed practitioners.

In 2002, Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers achieved nationally accredited status from the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). In January 2009, our Miami location received its approval as a NACCAS accredited branch of Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers.

Our branch campus, Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers-Miami Beach, is licensed by Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, License #3239.
